Confused. That's not an Astra and why do you need parts for a car you sold last year? On a different note, the father is clearly a mental.

It's been a long day chaps, grinder packed up half way through chopping the front off and we finished it with a chisel LOL yep Nova i sold the Nova to the bloke in the pics who bought this for the parts to resto the other one, personly, i'd have just swapped the ID over lol the roof will go on another Nova to get rid of the leaking rusted out sunroof, so 2 cars repaired but it still hurt cutting up a solid motor The front end will repair his race car so 3 really but 1 will only get smashed up again.

I've read this post several times I can still make no sense out of cutting up a perfectly good car like that. What is point?

Well if you bought it then surely you are entitled to do what the hell you like with it? I'd of said "yea sure I'll cut it up" with crossed fingers.

Exactly this, he's a good customer and TBH a right nice bloke who over the last 3 years has spent Gs restoring quite a few 80's mercs, he just didn't connect with this one. I've kept the floor section incase somone needs repair panels. I do prefer to save em but there are times when they have to go, i must admit usually seeing the rust as you strip them makes it easyer, this one was tougher than i thought (emotion wise i meen), must be getting old Any parts left over from rebuilding the other nova will be put up on here later in the year

Always known this to be the case with older, cheap (but interesting) cars, all it takes is one sh!tty owner and the cars history. Saying that i scrapped a solid MK1 Mini Ex racing shell back in the late 80's because my parents were giving me grief, it had been a race car since the early 60's and i binned it , would be worth a fortune now.
