Not enough photos of what I didn't get to see at RRG15 is on the forum - social media seems to be sucking away the content - which I guess is fine if you do a lot of social media....
And
I've got a year to wait before RRG16.............

There's normally 100 bloody threads to trawl through by now, where are they!?!? I know - That's exactly what I mean...... All the people who help in the show in eery aspect miss seeing things and the picture threads help see what we missed and maybe give those who didn't get to the show a damn good reason why next year they aren't gonna miss it. Last time I saw the show was 2007 at Mallory luckyseven - came to the rescue earlier but other than that it's not the std and quality I expect from this place Posting links to a facebook album doesn't tell me what you liked or why you liked it or even generate any discussion at all - I know it's the new media and sure it has some good points but I really has some downsides too....

Yeah I'm missing the threads too... I get the feeling that forums need to get into the swing of easier image uploading/storage. I've got a day off tomorrow I'll see if I can work something out. I've got a few months to spend some time on the Forum now I started a refresh of the design to make it a bit easier to use (with better mobile experience), but it is a LARGE task.

Glad someone said it. We forgot our phones and SLR and so had no pics of the day or even our own car...the grey mgbgt with yellow headlight...Midlands stand. Seen a phew threads but mostly of the hill which we watched and was excellent as always but then the heavens opened and put an end to our afternoon jaunt around the show and car park. Gutted Cmon guys plaster these pics up! Lol Well done to all the happy snappers who posted up so far btw been great to see what we missed

Such a shame as some great cars had turned up. Had planned a relaxing day mooching around but only really got to see some hill action and then God decided we'd seen enough haha Great show though and will be back next year!

Ian Might it not be possible to arrange a 'SPRING' meeting at Shelsley ? The venue is not fully booked and, with local permission obtained, it would be a sell out, especially after what will be a dark wet and dank English winter. It is a commercial enterprise for the venue who would welcome it.
Just a suggestion.

I've been considering something for the spring... Wouldn't be at Shelsley, but I'm still considering it.

RR Midlands Northern Hot Old's Meet at Oliver's Mount, Harewood, Three Sisters or similar..? Further north would be better but realistically, not as many people would travel for it. *n

I'm a complete hypocrite tbh, having taken a few pics (albeit slightly shonky phone pics) and only posted a link to them on fb. I best get a thread up then eh

Yeah I think that would be cool! it is hassle uploading pics. Also guilty of not taking any pictures and relying on uploads! promise to take a camera next time!

For me I guess some of the reasons is we're so used to the more seasoned/professional photographers taking really nice shots of the cars and waiting for them to upload, edit etc then throw up a large album to view. Also, Shelsley is vast, it takes so long to walk from one end to the other, add in ice creams, chatting to people, sheltering from rain, rushing to the hill, my camera tends to stay in my pocket and get very little use In fact I personally took more photos of that mental Saturday evening storm cloud than I did of the cars on all three days!
