Ultimate Stance Retro Rides Display

Hi all

I saw on Instagram that there's an RR display at Ultimate Stance again, just wondering if anyone I know from here is staying over to meet up in one of the bars on the Saturday night?!

I saw a photo of the car passes posted by @retroridesgathering on Instagram - I thought that was you HoTWire

I'd presumed that the cars in that display would be members here, think there were a few last year - AB car pix ? - they probably are but just busy doing final prep before the show

Oh yeah ! ... the Instagram is run by my lovely lady wife.

Yup, it is a sort of combination of The Low Set and Retro Rides on display. We had a display last year, at least two of the cars we have there this year were the same as last year (but oh so worth it), but the rest is fresh meat for our display

My Horizon was in the Wheel Whores area last year.... Cossie will be this year

My E21 will be at it's first event, as part of the Wheel-Whores stand. It's in for surgery on the sump at the moment though, but should be back in time for me to head up on Saturday morning. All being well, the E30 will be there also.

I would have asked you to the RR display if I'd know you'd travel up from Cornwall! Figured it was too far. Curse my short sightedness.

I'm usually up for a road trip. Maybe next time?

The new sump is on and we just need to bolt a sump guard on tomorrow. Apart from that, I also have a new DAB head unit to fit and I'll be ready to hit the road. It's about 5 hours but am stopping at Bristol to deliver a roof rack!

Does anyone know if there's a jet wash near the venue? I'll have 270 miles worth of crud to wash off.
