The car is in good condition all round. A small patch of paint bubbling on the Nearside Front arch which you can see from the pictures. The rear arches are both rust free. Various stone chips and paint touch-ups can be found around the car.

The car is HPI clear.

MOT until July 2016 with no advisories on last test

Reason for sale

I've just moved house and now require something with a lot more boot space to carry the various building materials I'm going to need to make improvements to our home.

It is in very good condition, it's immaculate underneath.

I was looking for a while for quite some time for a manual one. I was hoping to Super Turbo Diesel this one. For an extra £1500 you could EASILY double it's power and still maintain a reasonable mpg if driven sensibly.

I must admit, the OM605 in this is so much more refined compared with my MK3 Golf TDI. This doesn't feel like a diesel when you're driving it. It's so smooth and quiet.

Been looking for one with the right spec and manual box for ages now!
I'm right in thinking the rear seats are fixed & not split folding?

Terrific engines, not long sold a e300 Om606 & it was so smooth!

Yeah, I was looking for an Estate too. They're so hard to find in manual. I think people just keep hold of them as they are so reliable and just eat up the mileage.

You are correct, the rear seats are fixed and do not fold Although the boot is MASSIVE, it's only really good for items the same size or smaller than a set of golf clubs. No use for my building materials.


For anyone that may be interested, I do have a higher specced C250TD Manual Sport breaking (Black interior, electric folding mirrors, carbon trim). For £1000, you can have what you wanted off the Sport (excluding engine & gearbox) included with the sale of the Classic.

The alloys aren't in the best of condition, there is some oxidisation on a couple of them. I'd recommend a refurb.

Looks bl 00 dy lovely for the money. GLWS. If it werent for the 400 mile round journey and the fact my daily is a gem I'd be right on this. Shouldn't be around long.
