Oh and I think (but don't know for sure) that it'll be the same security team as previous years

They've got used to "us" in the last couple of years and they know what sort of event they are looking after - it's different to a lot of the events they do look after and I've seen first hand the way they've moderated their approach to fit in but still keep people happy and safe.

If they do have cause to speak to you it'll be for good reason..... Personally I hope they don't need to - the campsite rules aren't draconian - just sensible IMO

We've had the odd lost post before - it's pretty rare but can happen - if you PM HoTWire with payment details from the original paypal transaction he normally checks it and can put a package with security so we have covered when you arrive

I didn't receive my camping tickets either, ordered 3 and then another two. Sent a reminder for 3 and received 2. Sent another mail though a couple of days ago for the missing 3. The 3 are spare anyways and by the looks of things there isn't much interest in people wanting to buy them so don't think they will sell so its probably not an issue.

No it's the normal tickets. I replied to my purchase email and David emailed me back late last night that my name would be put on the gate. So hopefully ok anyway. But I don't know how to get my decal i ordered at the same time though. I'll ask.

I had the same problem when I ordered some RR stickers last year, the first package never arrived, another one had to be sent. Bit weird but these things happen so no worries.

I've had some experience of lost post - sometimes the strangest circumstances come to light - I my case my local postman went to prison for 5 years for the 3000 items of mail he had never delivered.........

No time limit - stand spaces are allocated - you can turn up whenever you want during the morning - people even arrive in the afternoon - not sure why they would want to miss a big chunk of the show but they do!

Ok Great thanks as its my Wedding Anniversary today and the in laws 50 years off to hotel just told the wife I have a pass I'm in the bad books lol its about 1hr away so going to leave at 8.30 to get on the Mk2 Golf Stand....

Ooooh look no muddy tracks round the site

They say if you walk in the countryside leave only footprints

At RRG leave only just a few muddy grooves

It was nice to be able to have a slot on Sunday Morning to have the campers avoid the road traffic and get up to the show field but dragging a load of mud onto the hill was an unexpected and unwelcome consequence so unlikely we will do that again......

First time at a retro rides show and at a hill climb was a interesting day! very surprised to see how all the different cars fared on the hill with plenty off surprises. The white Hurst was prob my favorite . was nice to see awards given out to the best cars off the day and the virility was well chosen.

please sell some Retro rides wristbands and hats next year and all be sure to buy plenty!!

well worth the money!
