Just found this little (big) beauty on that money sucking web site....other wise known as eBay. Are you tempted bstardchild?....... I know I am! The missis doesn't share my enthusiasm though.......something to do with Christmas on the way. Maybe......just maybe, my 2 young sons would like a Commodore for Christmas!!! I'll put it past the missis.

Yeah seen that unusal and a wee bit rare, I seen a nice orange one at ( howmanyleft ) show in aberdeen very nice it should sell at a decent price.

There is a thread on PH about the car - was purchased as a job lot in order to a get a car that was wanted (E-Type)

I'm not convinced that it's condition is as good as claimed

I certainly don't want another but I'd love it if an enthusiast has purchased it (the final price did surprise me - it went for way more than I expected)

Just had a look at the PH thread you mentioned. It was an interesting read. I too, found the line in the add where it says "the undersides were galvanised" fairly doubtful?? Most of the Commodores/Rekords I've seen have been on the crusty side. I did think about having a bid....but I had to restrain! I've got enough to do on what I already have!
Anyway.....my bid wouldn't of been high enough. I was also surprised at how much it went for.....hopefully, we'll see it within the pages of Retro Ride?
P.S.....really liking what you're doing with yours!....always look forward to the updates.

Thank you for that - Yeah updates - not getting a lot of progress on that front - other things keep getting in the way but I'll get back at it soon I hope

This is the last UK commie I saw over here. In circa 2008/9. It was beyond savable. I pulled the axles off for a friend in Ireland.
