Hello everyone, for sale is my dependable, though somewhat cosmetically challenged Honda Civic.
Keeping things blunt, it looks like it does in the pictures, damage to the front and rear bumpers from the previous owner, mechanically its spot on!
The good:
Long enough MOT to see you through winter!
1.4 16V with a blistering 90bhp on tap!
Very good on fuel, I have never really worked out what MPG it gets so I'm not claiming it does 1,000 miles to £10 BUT IT MIGHT?!
Discs all round with ABS.
Never uses any oil or coolant,
Tien supersport coilovers, they aren't new but the car handles like a dream, best handling car I have ever driven by far!
15" ATS/Honda alloy wheels - these are rare apparently?
2 Very good Uniroyal Rainsport 2 tyres up front, fitting for this time of year!
New front discs and pads all round and a new centre section for the exhaust.
82,000 miles and the full V5 in my name
The bad:
Air-conditioning is as flat as a fart, not sure if it needs a re-gas or if there is more too it, the A/C radiator and pipework look to be in good condition
Drivers side electric front windows likes to fall off the rails, so I have unplugged it for now to avoid putting it down without thinking!
Cracked windscreen, this will need replacing by the next MOT.
The blowers only work on speed 3 and 4.
The ugly:
Lets face it, it has looks only a mother could love, it looks like its been in a bare knuckle brawl with Ronnie Pickering and lost. (DO YOU KNOW WHO HE IS?!)
The interior is a little grubby but I will give it a good clean, and the parcel shelf is pretty much shot, although it still works as a parcel shelf.
The fake wood has been stickerbombed back when it was my girlfriends car, so stickerbombing or fake wood... take your pick...
It's going to be sad to let old scar face go, but I need the money to crack on with my MK2 Golf project, It will put a smile on your face every day as it did with me! (Especially when you can out corner any BMW or Audi desperately trying to get as close to your back bumper as they dare!)
Feel free to give me a PM
Price is £300ono although I may conciser PX or swaps... maybe.
(I will get some photos of the interior and some better all round pictures when I have given it a clean!)
