MK4 Golf TDI for sale. 1998 R reg. Jazz blue.
222k miles. 6 months MOT
Cambelt changed at 180k
Good tyres - one brand new on the front but needs re-balancing.
Recent balljoint.
Always returns between 50-60mpg
Drives perfectly.
A fair few knocks and scrapes but a generally presentable car. It has a few minor faults like the interior light not working and one of the rear doors has just stopped opening. It will need a new windscreen at next MOT, most people have windscreen cover on their insurance.
The sump leaks very slightly and the front brake pads will need replacing soon, we had intended to keep this so we bought a new sump and pads ready to fit ready but another car came up in the meantime.
Slow to start from cold but is fine when warm - has never failed to start on even the coldest mornings.
This has been my girlfriends car for just over a year and it has been utterly reliable and has been driven all over the country.
An ideal car for 6 months cheap reliable motoring. Would benefit from a good hoovering but otherwise ready to go.
