Hi, decided to sell my golf gti after only a few weeks of owning due to terrible insurance price with my company,
Car drives brilliant and handles really well but is far from mint.
Good bits
Mot till Nov
Toyo proxys with loads of life
Clean tidy interior
Engine pulls very well
Returns 40mpg on a good run
Nice alloys
Bad bits
Idles up and down but think its just control valve problem,
Sunroof doesn't work and has leaked in the past causing headlining to sag
Body work is presentable from a distance but you can see it has a different boot (different shade of red)
Front quarter panel has been sprayed wit a can
Laquer peel all over.
140000 miles and rising as in daily use
All in all problems are cosmetic and mechanics are good car drives spot on and for £325 ono with mot till Nov is cheap enough to do the work and make good or to buy use and break.

May sound bad but would rather make it sound worse than it is and have you pleasantly surprised when you see it.
