Thought I'd knock up a thread for this too as I have a bit of time today.
Brought this, my 3rd E30 a year ago, having regretted selling the previous ones I plan to keep this, so as long as I don't get addicted to crack and become desperate for cash this ones staying!
Brought this last June as a genuine low miles (100k) with every MOT from new, low owner (i'm the 4th) pre-facelift, in black with black leather- my favourite combo. It was great value on a gumtree add so went and brought it immediately as after months of hunting I was more than aware of how hard they can be to find.
Since purchasing the car a year ago I have covered a measly 1800 miles between mot's, due to lack of sunshine and the fact that every time the sun's out I seem to have timed it with getting work done/ the car being in bits!!
Pic above is on the day of purchase with my mates 328 cabby (which is now mine and looks very different) and another mates e46 M3 cabby- all in my favourite colour combo!
Since owning the E30 I have completed the following:
Full major service inc cam-belt, ECU Refurbished by ECU Doctor, removed the extremely loud boy racer exhaust and replaced with standard, security installed, full laser tracking as was all over the place, M Tec 1 Steering Wheel, Clear front lenses, Mint 2nd hand rear lenses, new speakers, replacement interior parts (ashtray, dash undertray, handle surrounds, genuine M gear knob), Removed the fake BBS which were corroded with Mint Cades Eros wrapped in Toyo Proxies (these were gold so had them sprayed silver), new fuel pump as a bit noisy, over £100 worth a various trim clips, hub-centric spacers as wheels looked a bit tucked in, rear seat centre re-trimmed, leading edge of rear arches cut out and welded, cill's rubbed back, rust treated & smoothed, re-spray of rear end, cill's and full mop!
Thats it for now, but I ideally want to re-chrome the bumpers.
