it's been a while since I posted something . .
a few weeks ago I bought a Volvo 144 . . it was more or less a impulse buy . . and I don't really know what to do with it . .
it's a 1973 144 Grand Luxe . . in a horrible dark red with some mish mash red cloth interior (GL should have leather . . as far as I know) . .
first those ugly lights on the bumper had to go . . and second I was looking into the wheel situation . . original it has 4.5x15 et45 . . if it rains you could hide underneath those wheel arches . .
first try was a set of 6.5x15 et25 steel wheels from a Volvo 960 . . and I quite like em . . with a set of nice fitting tires and maybe some wheel spacers this could be a winner . .
I also had a set of BBS RS 209 in 7x15 et15 . . and I couldn't find any pictures with BBS RS on any Volvo 140 . . maybe that's why: they look kind of "to new" for this car . . not sure . . . .
there is a set of Gotti 15 inch wheels on it's way . . maybe those could be more of my taste . . let's wait and see . .
