Some may remember the rolling road day in Warwick that took place where a few members came down from all over the place. Suffice to say the even was a good day out. Given the success of that event I figured it was time to do another one. After putting it off and off with a number of things going on over the weekend I am finally at a place where one can be organised. As @dantourney, task, Curtis, adam73bgt & sowen may recall there was more to the event than just going out to see some cars getting dynoed. This time I am thinking of not trying to get as many places filled up, but to get a good few people down. I say we meet up in the morning for some breakfast in Warwick, and then head down to the Rolling Road closer to midday and see what's happening. As for the time, I was thinking October, given that the show season is still going and that I seemed to have booked myself solid for September! So, who is game? Here's a video of what happened:

Ooh I'd be up for something like this again, By October I should have the power mods all done on the RX-7 so I'll really be interested to see what power its making Also Curtis * cos his name is awkward to tag Rafftank , might be interesting to see what the 328i is making? I dunno if the 525i would work on the dyno cos auto?

Yeah I'd be interested to see how much the 5 is putting down. Also a friend of ours has a Mk7 Fiesta ZS that he's just had mapped, he's keen to get it on a dyno as well

Would be up for it this time - give me chance to see how much power the Zetec is actually making before I pull it out!

I dunno if the 525i would work on the dyno cos auto? You're not kidding about the tagging . I *may* put the M3 on the rollers but I need to put it into a 'Dyno' mode so it doesn't put a rev limiter in place, but I'm tempted to put something else on I have access to, something with 310,000 miles and on LPG, for curiosity's sake. Autos can be trickier to dyno, but they can be done, since you can hold the gears in place ; it's mapping them that can be problem I thought... Would be up for it this time - give me chance to see how much power the Zetec is actually making before I pull it out! I've been interested in what the ballpark is for a Zetec these days.

I'm interested but don't know if I'll have the P6 back on the road by then and also work a lot of weekends now.

I may tag along, no need for a Dyno run....did one 4-5 yrs ago @ P Torque with SCN. 25 yrs ago it had 64bhp, apparently still has 59bhp but the line was straight so i'm not too convinced it had enough ooomph to worry the rollers

I was thinking in Warwick again, where the last one was held, at Trident College . If you guys can make up a list that could be great. If you could state whether the car will be on the rollers or not that would be great: 1) adam73bgt - Mazda RX-7 2) Curtis - BMW 5 Series 3) PhoenixCapri - Capri Bruichladdich 4) dan - Provisional - Minor Zetec 5) Chas - Provisional - BMW M3 or Mondeo 1.8 with 320k on the clock. 6) simini22 - Clubman Turbo Spectating: 1) olduns sowen & MrSpeedy, there is nothing to stop you for coming down for a bit of brekkie and spectating .

Mostly dragging 2 young teenage kids out of bed for (in their eyes) nothing much, unless Dads car is giving it beans! If it were just me I'd have a ride along anyway.

I really need to get the mini on the rollers at some point as it's never been on, just not sure if I can get the auto boxes to go into lockup properly but will get stuck into some transmission mapping and see if I can get it to work in dyno mode.

I'll ask my mate who brought the kit car last time if he would be interested again. Its now running a Mazda V6 but I'm not sure if he'll have it finished in time or not!

I've added my mate as I did promise him I'd let him know when a Dyno day was happening. Unless anyone has any major objections to a dirty modern joining I see no harm in letting him play

I'm game, depending on the dates in October. I can bring either the 5 series (I need to check it will actually hold the gear indefinitely) or my 3 series. I'm keen to see how much the 3 makes as I have a dyno print of it from the PO, but I'm not sure how much I trust it haha

I'd be tempted to see how healthy this engine is. It'll be doing the RBRR at the start of October though.
