...I think everybody who camped deserves a round of applause. The camp site looked as immaculate as a wet muddy field is going to get as we left, and bell-endery was kept to the very minimum.
Thanks for a excellent weekend.

I spent an hour in the astra van ferrying curse word to the skips. It was a pleasure that the twattery was minimal this year. Well done folks

We also commented on the way home about how well the campsite was cleared up by everyone. Think it reflects pretty well on the type of person who goes to the Gathering and all the respect they have for the organisers.

Good to hear it wasn't too bad, I was a little concerned that the state of the field would encourage Bellendery tbh. Do you think we will be allowed back next year? 😀

I only saw 3 bouts of twatish behavior, all very mild though... I almost had to go help someone 'fix' their flashing headlight issue with the crowbar, luckily it seemed to resolve itself Little hint, flooring your car does not get you through mud, especially when your bronze car is on the floor

One would think the engine placement in said bronze car would provide ample grip...

Having trialled Imps for 5 years now I've found they cut through really deep mud in second gear flat chat having the traction to do so with the engine in the rear. Obviously having my floorpan sat in the mud didn't help and if I personally upset you by trying my best to get my car from the mud, I do apologise. Absolutely fantastic weekend, campsite looked clean and tidy (mud can't be helped) when everyone had left.

I think Foxy offered to take our rubbish to the skip (thanks) but we had a round up of our area and surroundings and I reckon I only picked a couple of tins and bottles and a few things. Vastly better than last year, well done.
If someone can fix the weather for next time that would be super.

Two very civilised nights overall. Didnt hear too much noise up the paddock end and loved watching those people sliding down the side of the hill on Saturday
Roll on next year

Yeah, definitely good all-round behaviour from everyone this year. Campsite looked in decent nick, no one nearly died and even the noise levels seemed to be pretty low. Seemed like everyone was having a good time too.

After everyone had left, there was actually more litter in the show field than in the camping area, a testament to everyone who attended. I'll be the first to offer a big shout-out to Clement and his buddy for taking the time to litter pick anything remaining in the camping area, then follow suit in the showgeound, with no prompting from anyone. See you next year!

Generally it was very well behaved. I know we made damned sure our pitch was clear of all but a few ashes (and grass clippings. Sorry bout that)
Unfortunately I did have to ask one group to turn down the god awful 'death metal' type music that they were distorting out of their van at gone midnight, but they obliged willingly 😊
Other than a couple of 'skidderz yo!' It was about as good as you could realistically expect it to ever be.
In that respect, kudos to all the happy campers!

god awful 'death metal' type music You are such an old man, that was Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory, a revolutionary (if simplistic and now severely dated) nu metal album. Death metal, pah It was way loud though, good call Must echo all the statements above, the campsite was very civilised indeed and made for by far the most relaxed vibe of any Gathering I have been to so far. Top marks

Glad to hear the camp site was well behaved. The security team were very complimentary about it, they know the sort of level we want it all pitched at by now and seem to be able to make that happen.

Can we be equally complimentary about security? No ego-monster "wish I was in the army or police force but failed the test" types, just thoroughly efficient and amiable folks.

Not a clue. Is that bad? Just to clarify, I wasn't playing the music, I was also trying to sleep but failing due to being far to busy quietly revisiting my angsty 13 year old self
