1967 Datsun 520 Pickup.
This truck has not long been in the UK from South Africa.
It is factory RHD with speedo in MPH.
It is an absolute time warp, I haven't seen a commercial vehicle in this condition for a very long time.
It has never been welded & is 100% rust free & solid.
It has a UK log book with registration number TGU 458E issued this week. It is registered in my name.
It has a full MOT & is tax exempt too. It's ready to go.
Inside has a bench seat & a column change manual gearbox. It's pretty easy to drive.
1300cc original engine seems to potter along just fine with no issues at all.
It's rear wheel drive & the body can be unbolted from the chassis if you wanted to go to the next level of detail.
There are believed to be only half a dozen in the UK & this would be one of the best of them.
I have fitted 2 new seat belts in the cab, & new rear shocks. It had to have screen washers fitted & front side lights, all of which have been sympathetically done as I didn't want to mess with it at all. I changed the fuel hoses too, just to be safe.
The body work is very good, it has been painted at some point & the only let down is the prep on the bonnet isn't perfect.
The load bed is in amazing condition, it must have had a very easy life as there is virtually no damage at all.
It's pretty straight with no signs of crash damage or bodge repairs.
The chassis is clean & straight with no signs of abuse either.
There is the original hand book, service book & warning triangle still in it's box tied up with string.
There is the original registration certificate & a receipt for a battery in 1972 like it was written yesterday!
The original radio is fitted, although sun bleached, the sound is sweet, It's just amazing.
Seeing is believing, so come & have a look.
