Here I have for sale my beloved 1988 Mitsubishi Colt GLX. It has a 1.5L 4G15 engine in SOHC 8v configuration with a carburetor. Car is the rarer 3 door version with the pop-out rear windows. Has electric adjustable wing mirrors and front electric windows. No power steering, but is so small and light that it's definitely not an issue.
I bought it May 2011 off it's original owner who bought it when he retired, so I am the 2nd owner from new. It currently has 36,000 miles.
Has MOT until June 10th 2017. Had new front section of exhaust fitted and carb tuned a couple of months ago just before I put it off the road at the cost of over £200.
Not once had a problem with this car. Always been a reliable and trusty car and loved it to bits in the years I've driven it. Sadly it's time to move on to bigger and better things and already got a new car so this one has to go. Hoping it can go to someone who can appreciate it and treat it well.
Only negatives are a bit of rust appearing on the near-side sill. It's not rotted at all but worth noting. Also runs a bit rough when first starting up in the cold. It runs absolutely fine and smooth as anything once it's warmed up though. I think it's an auto-choke issue, but I just don't have the time to sort it out anymore and just need it gone. Can be driven away no problems.
