- 84mm Wiesco Forged pistons with oil squirter notch done correctly
- Pauter Xbeam rods
- ACL rod and mains STD side
- Micropolished STD size crank
- ARP fasteners throughout
- 1.8mm MLS Headgasket
- Light porting on the head
- HKS 264 9mm Lift cams
- Custom Built Holset RS341 turbo with 9cm turbine housing and a slightly larger billet wheel by turbodynamics. This has done less than 1000 miles at 2bar.
- 720cc injectors currently maxed out, would need larger to push power any further
- Devils own water meth injection
- 4" downpipe into 3" stainless system with twin silencers and downturned tip for sleeper look
- Link G4 xtreme ecu and custom loom including wideband and oil pressure monitoring for extra safety factors.
- Nissan 350z coil packs
- Facet pump feeding 1l swirl pot into single bosch 044 motorsport pump and 8mm feed and return lines. All housed in an alloy box in the boot for safety and noise dampening
- 2 bar of boost, 8200rpm. Very VERY fast, makes 2bar by 4400rpm which is incredible on an 1800cc engine. It has not been dynoed but it is easily in excess of 400hp looking at similarish spec CA18DET engines, this has had a map check every time its been to an event and used in anger to ensure its in top form. I can offer future support for tuning and maintenance to the prospective buyer if required.
Running Gear:
- Stock CA18DET 5 speed manual with redline heavy shock. Due to the light weight of the car it holds power absolutely fine.
- Competition clutch "stage 4" paddle clutch, actually fine to drive with and not too heavy on the pedal
- Brakes are STOCK, I only built this car for a laugh not to be a track car, they do stop it fine on the road but don't expect an emergency stop at 140+mph
- Gaz adjustable shocks all round
- Custom springs
- Custom plated limited slip diff 85% locking, no skipping etc when turning slowly/parking.
- Crossmember modified to take nissan s14 steering rack so has full power steering and 1000% better than the original lada steering box.
Interior
- Nardi Steering wheel
- Hydro handbrake
- Brake bias valve
- Acewell digital dash
- AEM wideband
- Switch for water meth
- Full stock lada interior to add comfort and sleeper appeal!
Exterior
- Very very clean car, missing a chunk of paint on the passenger side wing due to lada paint being a bit curse word and it peeled off! All original paint
- No rust/rot underneath can be put on ramp for inspection when buying
- 15x7 Nearly new Ronal Turbo wheels with toyo t1r tyres
I bought the car as a completely original 16,000 miles example, took it on a snetterton track session at Retro Kings and decided I was going back with at least 10 times the power. It gets a tonne of attention anywhere it goes and as yet has not been magazine featured despite a few offers so the new owner can no doubt drop it straght into Retro Cars or the like.
If you want to do some heavy track work with it you will definitely need to look at brake options, Wilwood calipers are available for a similar FIAT which are a complete bolt on solution.
I have absolutely no idea what to ask for the car especially seeing stock higher mileage cars now making £2000!
So therefore I am going to say £5000 ono and go from there. All serious offers are going to be considered but bear in mind the money involved in this car, I will not let it go for peanuts.
I am not looking to entertain every tom dick and harry just wanting to take it for a joy ride, serious enquiries only please. You will not drive the car until you have paid for it.
