1990 Mercedes 190e 2.0 Automatic W201
Due to having too many cars and projects and not enough time to work on them all, and now buying another car as well(!), I have decided to sell my 190e.
It is a really lovely example, drives great, from an era when Mercedes still made good, solid, reliable cars. Ideal as a retro daily which will not only appreciate in value, but turn heads too!!
Previous owner was an elderly gentleman who took great care of the car and had it maintained by his local garage throughout his ownership of 13 years.
Good bits:
*Interior really good and original, all carpets in good order and original. Full electric windows all round, electric steel roof. Heated mirrors, full alloys all round in good condition.
*Recent fan, new wiper motor and heater replacement within the last 2 years, exhaust manifold gaskets replaced (were blowing). Car well maintained.
*Service History from 2005. Old MOTS, receipts for work (loads spent in the past!!)

*Solid underneath
Not so good bits:
*Body really sound,but would benefit from a repair to front wing (pictured), Someone has had go at repairing this with filler in the past, but to be honest a brand new primed wing is £53, so that would be the best route to go down if it were being repaired.
*Paint could also benefit from a touch up in places. See pictures of front of bonnet where paint is starting to blister a little
*Small dent in boot lid as shown
Viewings welcome, although car is SORN currently. MOT until January next year!
£895 ONO, priced cheap to sell. PX or swaps for MK4 Escort ideally but anything considered. Try me.
