1984 Nissan Silvia S12 Rally Car
This car was built for rallying back in 2003 but was never used in competition. It was then sold to the guy I bought it off and he has done 2800 miles in it since. This car was built with no expense spared which is clear by its spec. As the car was never rallied its doesn't have an MSA logbook and would need a few new bits to bring things like the seats, harnesses and extinguisher back up to MSA date. However the car would be perfect for hillclimbing, drifting or trackdays.
Considering the money that has gone into this car I can only assume the engine was rebuilt at the same time the car was prepped for motorsport judging by the fact they but it back to 0 miles and also runs 225BHP at .9bar with its CA18ET but I have priced the car as if the engine hasn't been done as I'm not sure. The car only weighs 970Kg's so she is quick enough. I have put it on the dyno and it runs up safe with a really nice power curve.
I have just had new front brakes fitted and a cambelt kit done for piece of mind. there is very little paperwork with the car but its obvious what kit it has and how well it was built. If you were not happy with the single cam turbo at a later date the CA18DET fits straight in as does the SR20 and RB engines if you decided to swap out.
This car is in 9/10 condition with a small turbo to manifold leak and some very minor bodywork issues, no rust.
This car is not for the faint hearted and although it comes with 12months MOT I wouldn't want to use it as a daily driver.
Its a hard car to price but I'm looking for offers around £4000. Possibly swap for the right car but would need to be JDM.
