We all know that Toyota Corollas can be cool, the early ones can command pretty high prices if they are well turned out, the AE86 has a massive cult following. However when they moved to front wheel drive the demand hasn't quite caught up to the reputation of the previous models. I think it just needs a few good trailblazers to change that.
On a tangent : I met up with the chap doing that Rusty magazine on Thursday for lunch as he was in London for various reasons and had a bit of his day spare. It was really nice lunch, chatting to a car enthusiast from a country where I don't even know the car scene in the slightest (something I am now rectifying). He currently publishes Rozsdakupac : rozsdakupac.hu/ which is a bit more classic (but with some modified stuff in), in Hungary. He kindly gave me a copy and that is where I found the following car, that prompted this thread. It was also a good starter to find some more cool cars in their scene and a thread will be appearing later this week with more cool cars

Hopefully the instagram embed will now behave itself
Interestingly there is a ready made package on this here forum to turn out something as awesome as that, with some real go in it too : retrorides.proboards.com/thread/195524/toyota-corolla-4door-1500-bristol
So someone should totally do that.
