Just acquired this: My brother bought it Christmas week and then found out that he was moving abroad for work in January so it has come it handy for me after my P38 blew up on the M4. Loads of history, 118k on the clock, 320 bhp and just a comfy cruiser. Been using it daily this week to drive in and out of London and it seems like a great car. Next up, a new MOT, a clean and a checkover

P38 blew up? Surely must be some kind of mistake? Jag bookmarked though! I know! A P38 4.6 with head gasket issues, what are the chances?! My brother getting sent abroad actually came at a really handy time - my wife uses the LS400 daily now, my VR6 is on show in a VW dealership over winter and the MGB isn't the warmest place to be over winter.

supercharged straight 6, a very durable engine compared to the V8. Good cars these XJR's.... check for rust in the rear arches, front inner wings behind the shocker and at the bulkhead base of the windscreen

Thats a classic colour and wheel combination. I remember that combination on the launch literature.

Welcome to the club. I love mine, took it up to Birmingham and back this weekend. I've done over 2000 miles in it since September. Great cars. Good luck with yours.
