So Holfeld's on the 9th? If so always a fantastic event. Yeah hoping to make Holfelds, it will be tight but I should make it. It's always a brilliant event, really looking forward to it. Will you be out in the boxy starlet? Unfortunately not. I'm in Switzerland full time until August but I hope to make a few events back home in the second half of the year. I started giving the Starlet a quick refurb when I was back in March so it's in a number of pieces. A couple of days to resassemble and then refurb the brakes and I'll be ready to go. Enjoy Sunday

Just a quick update from the weekend. After a long week of late nights and working up till 1.30am Saturday night, I managed to get the B ready for a Multi-Venue Autotest on Sunday ran by Trial Drivers Club Ireland. What an event! There were 5 tests to complete 4 times on a mixture of light gravel / tarmac located on the grounds on an old factory. The tests were designed great, nice and flowing with lots of opportunities to let the tail hang out! I was a bit anxious that I didn't have time to do any mechanical work or checks before the event. I had wanted to rebuild the carbs and adjust brakes and little things like that but I just didn't get the time. However, the B never missed a beat all day! So that's the project finished if such a thing ever exists! Finished with the outside at least for now anyway. As with all classic cars I have a list of things that need to be done before the next event. I have play in the steering rack that needs sorting, a carb rebuild and make air duct to keep them cool and upgrade the brakes to name a few! I'll throw up more updates as I go and take more close up pictures (the lighting wasn't great at 1.30am!) but for now here's some pictures of the finished product also some action shots thanks to Peespeed Photography. Thanks again to Peespeed Photography for the snaps Matt

Well done. It's always the way. You can never have a car ready for an event the week before.
There is always something that needs attention.
