easter weekend can get lil bits done between my sisters wedding and a now cancelled MFN Car is actually being moved out of the lockup had 1 good day last week so cleaned the end of the crank up from sitting and cranked the crank oil seal, bellhosuing cleaned and put on, new flywheel arp bolts clutch and some DIY dowels installed gearbox is knackered popped top off full of rust and mayo, so ive essetially with the other useless parts paid £250 about 10 times the amount for a bellhousing and some scrap testing the chain and sling (reslung it after this) cut cut and when it touches cut it some more, still have to trim the scuttle panel more, wiper mech doesnt fit now tho As a great man once said, first time tight, second time alright, sat on the subframe with a thick rubber spacer and jack under the back, will level and square it up and make all the mounts Only slightly proud of the bonnet Ash

It's mostly out! 20% at most will stick out when the bonnet is on sorta Please tell me that this will not flout any vehicle weight rules and will be on the road?! You've got... err... vision! weights should be fine, shall be going up and down the uk motorways more than likely with a trailer too Ash

Wedding and recovery day out of the way with some noggin joggin on the go for bonnet clearance don't have imperal nuts so bit of tape to space stuff out, jaaaaaaaag v12 engine mounts for engine to subframe had the upper ones laser cut as there generic, made 2 lower and 4 mid plates by hand all 5mm tacked in other side bit of hot snot sump to rack clearance , engines on the curse word here as had to lift the engine up with forklift to pull the spacer out and didnt but it on the blocks level a not so pretty one, laser plate has some coating on it, will have the back section boxed in for strength As for bonnet clearance while its like this I'm going to do a lift kit on the body ether 1 or 2" depending in rack column length Ash

Managed to get abit more done, to get around having alot of the engineout of the bonnet and to give the car a more agressive look its getting lifted looking good up in the air i love billet aluminium as subframes are being dropped/lifted 2" i have to spacer the shockers out too but ive go for 2.5" on them few rough calcs to measurements and offsets for bolts 2 of these 2 for other side offset by 5mm and weld together, aluminium offcut used to space the gap so it doesnt go too far out of spec bracket in place, ignore the major angle as subframe was still at stock height Front lifted up Bit of sketchy work on the go, rear gas shockers welded with shocker covered in soaking rag and bucket dunked to stop it blowing up in my face, as i wanted to extend it and keep the brackets the same making face inner distance had to finely tune the angle of the brackets with a hammer and use the new brackets bent into the opposite direct (works perfectly) Welded on the inner edges and puddle weld on the bolt hole, spacer there again to keep correct making face distance Boxed in partly, rest left for suspension arm clearance Rear lifted, can almost get my head completely in rear arch Looking good and so is the car, roof rack sits at around 5 ft 5, will drop down a little bit with all the weight in, will be measuring up for custom spings the joys lift kit is 80% done few issues with rear subframe's front locators and other shocker and to lengthen the steering column an inch as lowering it has also moved it away Ash

Did the other rear shocker in the week as ive been putting it off and now my head fits under the arch Bank holiday weekend so watch this space, trying to get all engine mounts done and start and skin the tunnel as ive bought a shrinker/stretcher and got alot of profile for edging Ash

I know iknow Pictures are a few months old, goping to push it in work this weekend and do the tunnel to finish that job off After lift kit fitted left with this hole, lost a picture but i got the "smaller" slave cylinder for the side of the gearbox and have edged the tuneel hole and partly done the upright on the bulkhead altho I'm not happy with part of it one of this small big jobs, electric brake pump and bracket to hold it without taking up and space that is necessary adjustable vacuum switch will run a switched live relay to power the pump, gauge is there so i can adjust and inspect its vacuum level on occasion i could ho like this out of the bonnet or hide it away Ash

Unless it creates performance and/or longevity consequences I think you should pop it out the bonnet.
The crazier the better on every detail with this beast!
