940 Celebration estate, 2.3 Turbo, 1998 R. Reg, Petrol, Auto.
Mileage is 136 417 miles, Half leather interior.
All 4 door card tops are wrinkle free(not like my other 940 estate!!)
The full V5 log book is in my name and address.
2 sets of keys. Tow bar.
A change of plan forces sale, i have decided to keep my other 940 estate, so this one is now up for grabs.
The car is on a SORN, with a short MOT, hence a bargain price of just £750.
For the last 2 Mot's, the advisories were both nearside and offside front brake hoses slightly deteriorated. I'm sure interested parties will do a vehicle Mot history check(like i would!) where you will see that the car has not done a great deal of mileage over the last decade.
If i don't sell, then i will put the car through an MOT...But the price will increase substantially...and chances are, i might end up keeping it?? because its better than my old (Green!!) M. Reg (1995) 940 estate I'm using right now!...Plus i kinda like the colour Silver...................it matches my Silver C70 T5 GT Coupe, which was one of the reasons i bought the car in the first place!
With a small amount of work, this 940 Estate could be worth double my asking price...or you could go down the other path, and mod it!
These Estates "look the part", when they are lowered with a nice set of 17" Steel Wheels/Alloys, or maybe some Banded Steelies.
Then there are those that mod the engines too, the 2.3 "red blocks" (with their Turbos) are strong, sound engines.
I will let the photos do the talking, some of the pics highlight the faults, such as damage to the front bumper(Ive put black tape over the small hole) (see pics).
2 Small tears to the drivers side upper rear of seat. (see pics).
Factory Radio has been replaced with a "Clarion".
There is a small amount of tape around the passenger mirror.
Also, there are 2 small/tiny holes on drivers seat, just below the line of the bottom of the steering wheel. (see pic).
The rear bumper requires a slight re-aligning, it appears to be too far forward...this might have been done when the tow bar was fitted by the previous owner?
All the photos were taken yesterday.
The price is firm though, no silly offers please. Call me (for a chat about my car) on 07936 027216. Cheers Paul.
Cash sale only...although i might part/ex/trade with another Volvo???(but no basket cases/wrecks please)...I'm still looking for a very nice, honest Volvo V70 T5 Estate (must be an Auto).
