i'm working on attaining some bigger balls to actually dare try it You don't need big balls, the whole vibe of the day relaxes you, it was my first time this year and virtually everyone you speak to when signing on has never done it before either - go for it, your missing out 👍

Assuming certain negotiations prove fruitless I will be going against everything I've ever said on how the Frankenhealey should look and I am going to turn it into a clown car like the pics below It always has been undertyred considering the engine power but I always wanted a Q car, which it has been, but it's so well known locally that occasionally I sense the local speed boys don't want to play no more So let's give it the wheels/tyres it has always needed Of course, if the negs are successful then I'll have no money for the Healey but something else to run up the hill.

We were aiming to be there in our MGC, but nailing together a paying job in the shape of a 914 meant I ran out of time, however next year I fully intend to be there in it (or something else more interesting than the eunos)

RRG 2017 was my first effort at anything like this and has definitely sewn a seed. The Maestro Turbo conversion steamed up the hill 5 times and I vowed to try and chase another spot for RRG 2018. I'm currently in the 'running in' period for the latest MG Turbo conversion build but this time a Montego, hopefully a different model of car should be attractive enough to be successful during the booking process. Last years wheels. The contender, about 90% finished.
