This is my penance for the non-car/meta topic of how to reach people.
If you've been around the forum for a while then you know the drill, hot rod and custom show in Yokohama in Japan in the first weekend of December organised by the legendary Mooneyes. Usually featuring a host of rods and bikes that have been bought over to Japan from America, as well as local custom cars and domestic models. Always super high quality work on display and some interesting ideas to take away
The first of two themed displays was the El Camino celebration
Alongside that they had 85 years of the Deuce
Absolutely adore this
One of the cars they got shipped over was the incredible VanGo Econoline.
Paint work on this lowrider is something else!
A very custom Gloria wagon? Or something American that I've not seen before?
Low vans are never not cool
My (second) favourite model of CROWN
Bonkers retro inspired kei van
Great panel pain on this Beetle
Vannin' is the way forwards! More vans!
Next post, the award winners!
