So it's that time of year again when the DFVS show rolls round, this is a bit of a three part-er post really.
First, Check it out here. digforvictoryshow.com/
Plenty to come see, do, touch, ect, military vehicles and classic cars spanning current day all the way back to as early as the 1920's and maybe earlier, live action arena where you can see some of the hardware in action including tanks, trucks and artillery demos, we have (weather dependant) the Spitfire giving a fly-by on Sunday, and we have a steam powered period funfair and arcade to boot. We are a dog-friendly family show for all ages, well worth a look if you are local, or even if you are from father afield there is plenty to see, do and you can even camp!
Secondly, I mention classic cars. If you would like to get involved, and display your car for the day or even both in return for free show entry, please don't hesitate to contact bookings on this page here digforvictoryshow.com/get-involved/vehicles or come directly to me via PM. We would love for you to get involved no matter how old or not your car is, we have a large chronological timeline of cars as you enter the show as a 'walk back in time' so all are welcome.
Thirdly and finally, if this sounds like your bag on a larger scale and you want to do more than just come and revel in the fun, you can get involved be it one day or the entire week leading up to the show, there are many many roles available for any skill set, it is volunteer based, as we are a community interest company as laid out on our site and we run solely on volunteers like myself to allow us to self-fund the show and also give a large part of our income to local charities. If it sounds like you would like to get involved and get behind the scenes in this excellent event, you can get in touch with 'HR' here digforvictoryshow.com/get-involved/volunteers or come directly to me via a PM.
Some pictures from various years to whet your whistle;
And also, one of the show reels for the 2016 show. We are shooting this years promo video soon so when it's out, i'll pop it up.
