Turbo Exhaust Manifold - Mazda Mx5

Anyone got any experience of turbocharging the MX5, in particular the proprietary exhaust manifold? There's a really wide cost base, are the cheap ones made of cheese and best avoided or are there bargains to be had?

In two minds whether it's worth the effort but as project has already taken 10 years why not go all in now?

Friend of mine has turbo'd his, uses it for track days and beating about, had no issues with it. Blew up an engine mind, but the manifold has been fine lol.
