Hello rr Does anyone know if I can and where I can get alloy wheels repaired. I have some 1978 slot mags that need two mighty kerb damage welded and repaired. Approx area Max 20 wide 30 CM deep on one alloy I'm near Worcester uk Also is this safe and OK.

You state '20 wide 30CM deep' - I deem your use of 'CM' being centimetres - in which case your wheels are scrap

Any damage to a wheel larger than 10mm/1cm it's safer to scrap the rim as anything larger the rim will be buckled and more than likely have internal cracks and not safe to use at all

Hi,
I’ve seen Huxley motorsport (who I believe are Worcester way ish) fix a fair few damaged alloys.
Might be worth trying him before binning them

Before you scrap them, talk to Ian Jemison near York - www.ianjemison.co.uk/ - you'll be amazed what they can fix.
