Not much to report really. It works and it's much easier to use than the old SIP ! All I did was weld a patch in but the original metal is almost biscuit tin thickness and it was just a case of turning the voltage down a bit more. Before. During. After.

I should have added that although the welder seems quite good the handle isn't attached to much. Cosidering they market the smaller R Tech machines as being portable the handle could do with some sort of bracing between the outer casing which it bolts onto and something inside.

I have had a Oxford 200-1 for about 5 years and i think it is listed as semi synergic and cap+ and i as a non welder seem to glue metal together ok, But i would love something like the R-tech inverter welder as i have seen one in use and it is very nice.
