So I’m building a track truck out of my B2000 and I’d like to maybe wide-arch it at some point. I like the idea of some sort of box arches, similar to FC RX7’s, 944’s, Manta’s etc.
Short of making some myself, (which is an option), can anyone think of any other cars that I might be able to adapt the arches from?
Cheers!

Whether you believe you can, or you cannot, you're probably right.

GRP would deffo be preferable but I'm trying to find something more "boxy" if you like, rather than over-fenders for S14's etc. Swear I've seen bolt-on GRP arches in the style I'm after but cannot for the life of me remember what they were off or where I saw them.

Mk2 Escort xpack kit is pretty boxy and not to wide Yeah that's the sort of thing! I did find some GRP Integrale-style arches on eBay for not too much money too.

How about doing it like I've seen on some kei-class track cars where the front wing is spaced off it's mountings and the rear quarter is slit, spaced out and gaps welded?

This was a project truck from HR&C from back in '79. IIRC its a metal framework with sheet steel over it. I think they also did a "how to" on it in the mag over a couple of issues.Think it also had a roof chop.

So you don't want "box" style arches then? Mmmmm try these X Pack flavoured Capri's. Mk2 Capri or more smooth Mk3 Capri

Ah no, I really do like the arches on the Mazda! Not sure how I missed my response. They will probably be the sort that I would make if I do go down that route.
I did find some "Lancia Delta Style" arches for sale which would just rivet on. I've actually just seen them on another truck and they look like the exact thing I'm after.
I searched a bit for the X Pack stuff and it was probably more expensive than the whole truck

From the spotted thread, ^this^ is what I mean about spacing panels out to make box arches. You know that the style will work, cos it's oembutbigger!
