I have HUGE interest in this. Just because I don't say much doesn't mean I don't care. It's projects like this that show me just how amazing the modified vehicle scene can be. I absolutely love this Peugeot, especially the fact that you've gone completely against type and made something utterly unusual, using a more modern vehicle. It completely rocks and simply doesn't conform to what's expected. So i for one would be disappointed if you don't continue posting. So, carry on...

Keep on keeping on, I love this. Mummy always told me if I have nothing to say, say nothing. What can I say whilst gawping in admiration?

Er,I'm interested too!! This is brilliant. Imagination, fabrication, completely off the wall, it is a bit of pure genius. I have not commented because I have sat here with my jaw on the floor. Keep the updates coming, it is one of the best builds on here, for sure.

Thanks guys...............we did have one elephant in the room..the front track width..even using standard width Golf steelies was going to mean that the tyre tread would be poking out of the wheel archly at least 1/2", and clearance would mean a comically high ride height. I'm not a fan of radically negative cambered front suspension.so what to do......first two options were to reverse band the front wheels [narrow them, but didn't fancy that compromise....we tried rolling the arches, but the steel is roughly the same gauge as a T34 tank, so that wasn't a great success either. We also found that the rear nearside wheel arch has been wobbed up tp such an extent that the profile was completely different to the other three......... so, nip next door to a handy Range Rover breakers, and snaffle four rear Discovery wheel arch mouldings.........roughly the right profile, and about an inch wider.....I want a comfy ride, but I want it to sit about 3" lower than stock. I was lucky enough to snaffle a complete air ride system for a Mk4 Golf of that there internet, so that's going in, for about half the price of a really decent set of coilovers.

Just had a quick scroll through...and.........err....blimey! We did do some fairly involved measuring before we started, the one thing we failed to take into account was how much the body tapered from the rear of the front wing to the grill........

That video doesn't seem to work..have some pics instead Have used all the original wiring and ECU.....started pretty much first time, although we had to install a new fuel pump, as we're using the Peugeot tank, which obviously doesn't have a swirl pot.......next.hard lines for breaks, fit new fan and radiator...test drive!
