A bit worried about the noise levels. Mine is around 99db at idle but at 3000 rpm its nearer 112! (at IVA distance measuring - quite near exhaust exit)
Any idea how they test and how near the mic is? (drive by backed off is quiet)

(drive by backed off is quiet) Mine was over the limit last year - first reading was 108db and after a few tests it was within limit and passed - they will help you get through it 😉 it’s a static test and then monitored readings around the track. |

The static noise test 105dB is it at a fixed RPM? thanks Jim Whoops missed this post as I said I would reply 75% of RPM limit No problem, you have enough on your plate these last few weeks. I did not apply in the end, next year definitely though. Have a brilliant weekend all. |
