Sorry if this is a bit of a first world problem, but wondering if there will be any way to charge phones on site? I am camping so only means I have would be a charge pack, or run my car for a bit once that is flat. Noticed these folk were at a Goodwood event previously; www.ilovemyphonefestivals.co.uk/goodwood-festival-of-speed-2017/Many thanks!

Power points in the paddock if you have a charging lead during show hours More power points in the shell building on Sat night when it's open Rest of the time power pack is probably way to go

We struggled last year to get through the weekend, saved by the Shell building! Took at a 20k mAh to the Gathering though and it got through all three days and charging on the way there and back. Definitely the way to go.

Definitely the way to go. My phone is getting a hammering now - normally three days between charges - right now it’s not lasting a day

I have a 20kmAH battery from Anker. It takes an age to change but it will keep a phone on charge for well over the weekend . We struggled last year to get through the weekend, saved by the Shell building! Took at a 20k mAh to the Gathering though and it got through all three days and charging on the way there and back. Definitely the way to go. My phone is getting a hammering now - normally three days between charges - right now it’s not lasting a day Mine is just as bad now . On some occasions it won't even last a few hours. I've had to install a semi-permanent charger into the Merc, similar to the M3, in order to keep it going. A shame. To think I returned a robot phone last month to save money...

Wear some sexy nylon's and jog around the site to generate static electricity. That's what I'm doing. Just need to figure out where to plug in the cable

plenty of cars running with usb sockets in them? My Big Racing Rig* has 2 fast charging sockets in it with solar power. Budwieser or Corona charging tokens would work *this may be a smallish trailer tent
