Evening all
Because I’m old and tired I fitted the wrong starter motor to a lombardini single cylinder diesel, and then cranked it for ages wondering why it wouldn’t start , when it was cranking backwards.
Having fitted the correct one I now can’t get a decent squirt of fuel out of the injector pump
Is this because having been run backwards the injector pump is knackered, or are these a pig to bleed, or have the Martians arrived and gummed it up with mars dust?
Any and all suggestions gratefully received and humour appreciated too. I’ve just about had enough of this engine!
