I've got two D12s on the way - one foe me and one for Ethan, sadly ours will be more restrained as I'll be doing replicas of my acty.
Will need to try and look out for wheels that fit these that are smooth disc designs like my image wheels although the standard ones aren't too far off - just the holes being the only difference.

Plastic mirror discs with a hole in the middle to fit over the stock wheel hub, with stick on ‘crystals’ detailing for the wheel and split rim bolts? You could cut discs of ‘chrome’ from those universal placca door mirror glasses. Tyres is going to be the hard part. I’m sure there are some low pro tyres that fit these wheels (the RC size is 1.55 iirc)

They look similar to the C34/44 wheel but are smaller - and have that moulded on tyre. I'm going to see if I can track down some foam donuts that are the right sort of size and have some other plans. Wish I had a 3D printer though.

Wish I had a 3D printer though. I know a man who does... I also have CAD capability and some form modelling up scale wheels - although previously for 1/24 builds

It's a CNC router I have - works brilliantly for cutting 2D shapes in the GRP sheet material I use.

Pretty sure I can handle the initial drawing - as an STL? - it's the turning that into something that can be printed and printing it where I'm lost. I almost spent the toy car money on a resin printer - but I'm probably having more fun with the actual cars.

Though this is for parts - the WPL store only had one metal gear servo available, so this will supply the other I need. I could do with a replacement front axle casing because I drilled the king pins slightly too large on mine. The rear axle will go on the D12 that's coming - I might be able to get the 370 in that too. I might end up ebaying some of the other bits to claw back some pennies.

There's some issue with early boards being released that only work on one channel.

I have a spare V3 controller here (and a faulty V3 soundboard).

In other news my C44 continues to perform well. It decided to be front wheel drive only last week so a took the back diff apart, cleaned it and put a small washer in to pack the drive pinion out and it seems to have done the trick for now.
My MN99 build is continuing slowly as I wait for bits to arrive (hopefully tomorrow). If it is on interest, I will post some pics up here over the weekend. 🙂

I spoke with Edward he says yeah must be an early 1. Was from wpl rc site and he is sending another:) . My worry is both are from that batch they were purchased about a month apart. My 1st board was faulty so sent a 2nd. Is it the board or the remote?
Oh and thanks guys

I had a chat with Edward about mine but when he found out it was through a reseller on BG the conversation petered out.
