What about a supported, fold down rear tailgate that can carry the load and even act as a ramp, tie down hooks where seatbelts are anchored, and a couple of tie downs plus chocks to keep it all safe and stuck.
That way no trailer, and self contained unit.

Failing the hinge down tailgate how about adding some wheelie bars at right angles on the rear of the mini mini scamp so that it can stand up in a transformer stylee in the back of the full size mini scamp?
It would need some kind of bracing / support clamp frame in the full size mini scamp so it doesn’t topple over but could look a pretty cool way to make it fit.

Could almost just have an oversized fridge trolley to tip it on to it's rear and tie that down to the scamp?
Might be a bit too heavy no matter what you do, though?
Although I guess your centre of gravity is pretty low anyway.
