Here we have my Nissan 300ZX Turbo (Z31) for sale,
I have known this car since I was about 11 years old (25 years ago now) . It was my dads friends who rarely the drove the car however my brothers and I always loved it. Throughout his ownership it spent most of its time in a lock up and not being driven however in 2016 he spent a lot of money on the car with the thought of using it more, this meant new respray/brakes/service parts . However once the work was completed and the MOT was done it went straight back into storage again and barely used.
I pestered him about buying it an eventually he gave in and it became a project for myself to get it back up to its former glory and use it .
When I bought the car in October it was still MOT'd and i drove her home without issue .
Since having the car in my ownership I have covered less than 1000 miles due to the current issues in the UK and only having to do short 6 mile trips to work , however i have used it almost daily for work without issue. I was planning on taking it to Le Mans 24 Hour which has now been delayed.
These are amazingly rare to be in Turbo trim AND a Manual box (looking online there are less than 10 in the UK)
The engine is a 3.0 V6 Turbo with fuel injection giving 228BHP when new (more than a cosworth if my memory serves correctly). There are no knocks or smoke coming from the engine, it uses no oil or water during use. There is a slight stumble when on light throttle/idle which i think is a Vacuum leak so have sourced new inlet gaskets from the USA (included in sale) . It pulls amazingly on full throttle so I'm sure it is nothing major.
The gearbox I am led to believe is a T5 Borg Warner (also fitted in the cosworth), the gears are nice and quiet with no grinding or whining, The rear diff has a limited slip differential. There is slight play on the drivetrain (not surprising for a 30+ year old car) I believe it may be a join on the prop shaft but did get around to diagnosing it.
Bodywork wise for a 32 year old car the bodywork is in great shape , previously all the rust on the sills and subframe mounts was cut out and re fabricated , I have a pit in my garage and the underside is in amazing condition. The paintwork is still very presentable with small areas of bubbles appearing on the rear NS Arch area and at the very bottom of the front wings. The worst area of rust which has gone into holes is on the underside of the bottom (very common on these) I would think a bodyshop could fix it without having to source a replacement boot.
The car has T bar roof which works as it should and also the roof seals do not let water in when it rains, there is also ZERO rust in the roof area.
The seats are all original with no tears, original radio still works, fan blower works etc, only thing not working is the cruise control as it needs a Speed sensor changing inthe gearbox (can be sourced from breakers)

These cars are amazingly rare in the UK but commonplace in the USA which means parts are very easily available. If you need new parts RockAuto cover most items, for used items the facebook owners pages are full of them . This car is not 100% complete or immaculate however all the expensive work has been done with fine fettling needed to make it perfect.
I have a full video of the outside which I can whattapp you , along with a video of the engine running .
I am not desperate to sell the car for the money so please don't think you will get a half price bargain, the reason for sale is due to me needing a 4x4 for the forest we have, I will consider a Part X for an American V8 Pickup but must be 4x4 and not 2WD
Cars comes with everything I have spare including Alternator, AFM, Odd nuts and Bolts , original Brochure, Haynes Manual etc
Any questions please message on here or call on the number in the photo, I have hundreds of photos of the work I have completed since owning the car. Please do not send me an offer until you have viewed the car
