![]() Hi all after a long sabbatical I finally have another retro under my custodianship... It's not quite the Mk2 Granada I'm used to having but unfortunately my pockets aren't as deep as they once were... So with that in mind I took the plunge on this... One elderly lady owner since 1998 - bought as an ex demonstrator having traded in her 1990 820. She decided to give up driving having suffered a stroke at the age of 94! The bodywork is sound enough although it does look like it's been driven by a pensioner - tell take scratches and scrapes from the M&S carpark. It came with the original bill of sale and a FSH - more shockingly everything electrical works! It drives beautifully and it would appear there are only a few minor niggles to sort out bodywork wise. I will get a few interior shots once she's had a good valet... Dan   |

Thats a lovely looking car. I have owned my 1992 820si since 2002, one of the best cars I ever bought. In 18 years, it has never failed to start and always got me home.These cars have their niggles, like the T16 oil leak from the corner of the cylinder head but that is easily fixed with the copper pipe mod. Always be sure to have the emergency code with you in case you get looked out and the immobiliser comes on. Cars have ended up being scrapped for just that one reason.

Good looking these fastback models and in one of the best colours too. I have owned a couple of 800 saloons plus a Coupe and recently bought another 820 Sterling saloon, so interested in seeing how you get on with this.
