Looks a lovely car but the MoT history spins a strange yarn.
Tell us more!

Yes odo broken tho' speedo works (indeed everything bar the odo works, and as with all 124s it wears the miles with ease - no real wear / tear, edge of the driver's seat all good, nice tight drive - even the seat belt butlers still buttle! Also a third the price of equivalent cars, so while it won't be for everyone I don't see it hanging around long - I've priced it so someone can buy it happy they're getting a bargain, and I hope fairly so
Cheers
Matt

Hi, have you had it long? Also, do you know roughly what mileage it has done since 06/07?
Thanks, Ryan

Sorry no longer available - basically I bought it to help out a mate, I've done a few hundred miles in it since Thursday & love it to pieces - the 'user & improver' will be yours truly! No idea how many miles it's done, triangulating all data 225k at a guess, but it's lovely and deserves to be looked after and enjoyed I'll get a thread up presently All best Matt

^^^ Henley today, having done Guildford Lewes Ripley Henley in comfort & quite economically too - was meant to be a vid to aid social distanced selling but kinda fell in love - much like my old ML320 I adore cars that deliver way more than one has any right to expect! Peace out Cheers Matt

No leather? That’s a surprise.
Engine coolant temp looks a little high whilst the engine oil pressure looks a little low. Perhaps not surprising considering the 200k+ miles it’s done. Bodywork looks tidy though.
Let’s hope everything works out for you and the CE.

That's a lovely C124, and remarkably clean for the year, with no visible rust, rot or lacquer peel.
Engine sounds decent, too.
A lovely car and was a bargain price. Mileage means sod all on these - they were built to last - hence why the butlers still operate and hardly any wear to the driver's seat bolster.

Note orange needles too Cheers Matt Love those orange needles. The cloth seats are supremely comfortable. Oil pressure does drop to around the 2 mark, when the car is idling. When driving, should always be at 3, unless you slow down and stop. My R129 and W140 also do this. And yes, coolant temp is normal after a long run and hot idle - if it goes any higher, the fans will kick in to bring it back down. It's s top motor - glad you are keeping it.
