As title, the part that bolts up to the oil pump...I'm sure one from a 17d would fit too... thanks

its part of the oil pump casting, have yoi perchance put a big dent in the sump?

Nope, its for a engine thats in a Cortina mk3, its allready been in the car I just want to re do it, make it a better job....

Might be best putting a photo up, is the engine out of a RWD LDV Pilot or FWD version spun round? I've never looked at a LDV version so dunno if they had a different pump/sump/pickup pipe. As welshpug says they're part of the oik pump on a FWD version.

I think they are still canted at 30 degrees even in a RWD application, though I haven't been under one so don't know if they used a different sump.

Thanks for the input, I'll mod the item I have, a bit of alloy tube & the tig will fix it..cheers
