In one of many changes of direction with my Mini I've decided to retain the two clock binnacle that sits behind the steering wheel instead of converting to a centre speedo arrangement. I've already got a pod to go in the centre of the dash to hold 52mm oil pressure and vacuum gauges. I've bought a matching single 52mm pod that I want to put on the right of the speedo binnacle and hold a 52mm tachometer.
I'm finding it difficult to find a nice, period tach. in this size at a reasonable cost. The same poor condition one seems to keep popping up on eBay with not a great deal of other options.
So I am here to ask, is anyone aware of any vehicles that came with a 52mm tach. either as standard or as an option so that I might be able to widen my search a little?
