Any ideas with this one?
I am putting a wiper on my vapour blast cabinet. I'm after a wiper motor which gives approximately 90-120degrees travel. Any longer is no good. Ideally it should be a fairly compact rear type with the wiper shaft coming stright out (I guess the taper the arm goes on is fairly standard)
It seems most rear wiper motors give closer to 180degrees travel. I think I might need somthing from an older car where the rear wiper was offset to one side maybe...?
Any ideas what I can punch in ebay or anyone got one sitting about spare? It's been a right faff finding an arm and blade short enough.. now no wiper motor I can find works either 🙄
Much love.

What about a headlight wiper motor arm and blade ? Much smaller and less sweep. Graeme Johnson

Some vans with double rear doors have rear wipers, something like that would only have about 90 degree sweep.

Early land rover or split screen Morris minor maybe
I was thinking as it's a smaller screen split in 2 the sweep area isn't as big

Yeh I was thinking an old remote style lucas one would do it but it would just look cumbersome.
I think I might have a walk around the nearest car park and see what i can see.

Have a look for tractor wiper motors, a lot used to cab mounted above the screen and around the sweep you're after.
A quick look on eBay also shows up generic ones for jeeps and off road buggys etc with a 110deg sweep for about £25. They even have built in switch on the back of the casing which might make the installation look neat.

MK2 Golf rear wiper motor may suit you. It doesn’t move to many degrees and is compact.
