Selling on my Citroen Bx 1.9 8v GTi
It’s currently on eBay as a classified but will accept offers
I bought this as a small project with my son to get him into working and tinkering on cars
Overall it’s in amazing condition for a 30 year old car with 145k miles , it’s got stacks of receipts for loads of paperwork including exhausts , tyres, suspension, alternators etc over the years.
It’s got AC which works along with auto electric windows, and a modern CD player . All the tyres are like brand new, it also has electric sunroof with deflector which works fine
The bodywork is very rust free with only minor bits here and there but as can be seen in the pics it’s very nice . The worst part of bodywork are two touch ups in the bonnet front edge
The engine has covered 145k with lots of history , I have just fitted new plugs as a refresh. Other than this she seems bang on.
The auto box works lovely changing when it should and smoothly.
The interior is spotless inside with everything as it should be , someone previously has fitted additional 12 sockets in the centre console
It also comes with sales brochures and owners clubs magazines which is always nice to see.
Bad points on the car would be
The odd squeak from one of the aux belts, I have checked the tension which seems fine so may just need a new belt
Rear suspension is a little soft , I have fitted new spheres on the rear so think it’s either a level sensor needing adjustment/changing or I’m just not used to how they are setup so don’t want to play with it too much.
Slight clunk from the front which I think is a roll bar bush or track rod end
On the last MOT it was mentioned that there was corrosion on the rear suspension mounts. I have cleaned these back and undersealed to stop it becoming a repair in the future
This is a very genuine little car which is totally usable every day with MOT until August it cleans up lovely. Any genuine questions please message me
