Hi guys - my friends are having a baby and need to buy a car in the next few weeks. They have a budget of £1500 and need 4 doors and a big boot. Petrol is a preference but they live in London so need to think of emmision zone charges etc.
Does anyone have any ideas of cars to look for? I've said I'll look for something but this type of car isn't on my radar!

Have a look at the Skoda Octavia. Large boot, very comfortable and go on and on and on.

That is very cool. Sadly, my friends couldn't care less about cars so are probably after something more mainstream. ie: poor parts availiblilty won't be chalked down to, "ah well - it's cool" it'd just be an annoyance!
