Any interest in a VW t25 Leisuredrive Crusader? The original Leisuredrive documents are contained in the folder, as are all the appliance instructions (see pic). 104,000 miles. MOT until May 21, but will re-mot before it leaves us. We bought it last year, and the original engine was partially dismantled. We haven't been able to use the van as work and other things have taken over, so we'd like to find a new home for the van.
Van was a 1.6td, however we have fitted a 1.9td engine. 5 speed gearbox. Everything works inside and the fridge is ice cold. Interior is in good condition, led interior lamps fitted and 2 seatbelts on the rear bench seat. Electric hook up all working.
We have replaced many parts over the last few months including:
Engine replaced with a 1X 1.9 engine, which is turbocharged, easily changed if you wanted to put a more powerful TDi in!
New Turbo
Cambelt and tensioner
New clutch
New radiator
New copper brake pipes and flexi pipes all round
4 new tyres
Front suspension has been polybushed, inc steering rack
Interior heater fan wasn't working so this has been done too (what a job!). Fuel tank has been dropped and cleaned out with new pipes where required.
Underside is in very good condition and has had no welding to inner or outer sills. Steps are good as are seatbelt mounts. Paint is a little scruffy in places but overall this is a really honest, solid van. But also remember, these vans are getting old now and may well need attention in the future (as they did when new!).
Runs and drives well. Located Redditch. Of course open to offers.
