The WPL store have been stocking these for a few months and are now leading with them from their second store Asia RC Depot. I quite liked the look of them when they came out so once my affiliate commision had built up a bit I could buy mist of one of these. A bit of research showed that the wheelbase wasn't far off that of an old Mardave Ministox, these are 169mm and the Ministox is 175, with a bit of careful choice of body I could probably squeeze the wheelbases together. Important because I really don't like the stock body shells.
It's layed out like a 1/10 car, but has a 370 motor and runs on a 2S pack of two 18650 cells. It's sold ready to run with a combined Reciever, ESC and gyro unit built in. I've lowered the chassis a bit by putting some spacers on the shock shafts to prevent them extending too far. The battery connectors have been swapped for Deans, to suit my charger and keep compatibility with the other cars. Other than that and a bit of trimming the rear splitter and foam front bumper it's as it came.
Here's a bit of video of it in action - this is the first time I've driven an RC drift car for more than a few moments.
