Kent, Essex, Norfolk and back...

Thursday next week I’m going to be taking the Land-Rover and trailer from Dover up through Kent, Essex and into Norfolk. Dropping back down on Friday. 

Current itinerary is as follows:

Thursday

Dover
Canterbury 
Sittingbourne 
St. Mary Hoo (grizz )
Sturmer
Norwich

Friday

Potter Higham
Paul Y  (maybe... could be Thursday, depends yet)
Thurrock
Gravesend
Canterbury
Dover

I am collecting some Land-Rover stuff from club members and delivering other bits. I’ll have a reasonable amount of space, but not unlimited. Time is going to be tight, mainly because I always end up nattering 🤣, so I don’t want to divert too much from the route, particularly on the way up, but I'm happy to sling whatever fits into the back of the wagon if I can help people out.

This could be a godsend , as I have bought my dad a mustang 8” diff from a guy in Norfolk (NR8 postcode) but have no time to get up there yet , would this be something you could squeeze in ? I am more than happy to pay you and make a good coffee when you drop it over

Sunday...... Just done East Sussex, Kent, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Wisbech, pick up a bit for my camper, back across to Epping for a cuppa, then back into soggy East Sussex, back home by 3pm

Yes, no worries. I’m probably coming back over the bridge around two in the afternoon. Bexleyheath is an easy divert as long as I’m not going to be entering any LEZ nonsense in my stinky old Land-Rover.

While I was at the Osteopath today my phone (on silent) went mad. Twice.

Once done I looked and missed calls from glenanderson and Paul Y
So I called Gen and it turned out he was reversed up my drive and rummaging for timber, of course there is a load of it.

He was picking up the super heavy complessor that came from craigrk in Leatherhead for Paul and some V8 parts, tools and my digital torque wrench, along with a heavy duty rubber mat for the load bed in Woody his C10 truck he is building currently.

Glen will be headed cross country to pick up and deliver Land Rover parts and a rear diff that will end up in Bexley. So quite a trip.

My back was absolutely knackered from the osteopath and hurting it this morning so Glen managed to load everything alone.



And ready to rock n roll.



Next stop Essex at Chez “y”
