I won't be there when you cross the road, so always use the Green Cross Code.

It's been many a long year since I attended a RR event. Glad to have booked my tickets already, hopefully will get Bertie up the hill as well but if not then looking forward to seeing how it's all grown since Santa Pod.

Hi.
I saw a few years ago cars needed to be insured etc. I am hoping to pass MOT before I come but if I don't and car is currently on worn what then please? Anyone know if I can still do track time etc? Thanks.

The hill is a public road - as a result when not used for competition events cars need to be road legal We have insurance in place for our guest cars but it’s limited numbers

Rats. Ok thanks.
Did I hear there is a competitive climb on Saturday or Sunday then? That may exempt me from that rule?
I hope to get it MOTd cos I was aiming to demo it for sale while I am there. Just looking at options.
Thanks

Yup this is all included with camping for RR Gathering (if anyone sees this that is thinking of buying camping, there are 8 tickets left). RS Clubman should see you sorted for all but the Outlaw category (which is effectively Sports Libre).

I though i needed to upgrade for hillclimbs, if not then I’m definitely in.

We'll get all this clarified in the next couple of weeks so people know what they need to do to get on track. When we had conversations with MotorsportUK they were very keen to make it as easy as possible to go from being interested in doing something to actually competing on the hill as possible. I'll open up a new forum for this later today

Also seen this, super excited as the class format looks great, good to see a different approach to the norm in hillclimbing for once! With the proposed class' it should make for an interesting entrant field!
