Entered and paid up!
Pro tip - Shelsley themselves are the Midland Auto Club and have an Associate Membership (for first year members) at £65 - so this may be a cheap way of joining an allowable Motor Club.
Who else has paid up and in what class?

Just a quick question, does the Gathering weekend camping ticket cover this as a spectator or is it separate?

What was the score with two drivers sharing a car @hotwire?

What was the score with two drivers sharing a car @hotwire? Absolutely not a problem, the second drivers will go up at the start of the next group. If you end up as the last two in the competition, one goes up, car comes down, next goes up. Nail biting finals

Thanks dude much appreciated Entered wild class for Terry and I in the DC2 EF. Wont be the most powerful in class but she is light The course (like all UK hillclimbs) is relatively short, so a good run in a light, nimble car will keep you competitive with fire breathing monsters

If you can chuck me in mild class instead of wild i don't fancy competing against an 800bhp Metro in a 200bhp Honda lol. Having said that do we have to show an MOT for Mild class?

Yes you have to show insurance and tax for mild class. I've emailed the comp sec to change from mild to wild purely as I don't want to tax and insurance for ine day at a hillclimb. I've got a smokey type r and about to get my pants pulled down🤣

slipngripross and kiwimazda ... everyone should get at least 5 runs (maybe 6 if the morning runs cleanly) in the day before the knockout stuff starts. So should get plenty of runs. We'll obviously review classes post-event, just needed to run it once and see how it all comes down.

I’m glad we get to run up the hill with the car, yeah we know we are going to get beaten by the 6r4 and Damian’s legacy both sub 30s cars but to be honest the event is £60 cheaper for the day than a regular Shelsley entry fees, so I’m going to enjoy it even if we get knocked out early I don’t mind. I’m just grateful for getting the runs.
