Hi, I was wondering if anybody on here can help identify a car I saw yesterday. Fancy a challenge? It was mid 90s - M reg Long/large convertible Single round headlights Dark red/ burgundy I'd say British I originally thought Bristol, but can't find any models that look the same.
It's unusual for me not to know what it was. I tried to follow it for a photo but lost it. Thought it might be fun to figure it out. Any suggestions gratefully received!

It's the long/large bit that's getting me, a TVR / MG / Caterham is going to be no bigger than a modern Fiesta. The mention of a Bristol makes me think of something like a Jaguar, Aston Martin or Bentley, but I don't think any of those had single round headlights. I did think Ford Thunderbird but it's very American and Wiki says it was 2002

Doesn't quite fit the description but AC Brooklands Ace/Ace V8?

Thanks everyone. The current suggestions all seem to sloping/curvy. It was much more boxy/square corners. Seems like we are struggling to get there. May have to wait and hope to see it again!

The closest thing i have seen is a Bentley S2 convertible...but the car I saw had a H or M 90s plate.
